Some Frequently Asked Q's

about Rolex watches and SUBGMT.

Rolex and Patek watches and buying and selling these online bring a lot of questions. Here some good and not so good questions we often get. If you have a question that needs to be in this section please let us know at:

What Rolex to buy for investment? That is a good question. Actually a watch should not be bought for merely its investment value but we understand. It is nice that a watch does not depreciate, even stronger: gets more expensive over the years! But if we are forced to pin point one model:  Day-Dates!  The 18K yellow, white and pink golden DD's are fantastic to wear, and while new in the shop between the 28.000 and 38.000 euros (not taking the platina and exotics in consideration) they are very affordable in the second hand market. Much watch for good money. For around 9.000-10.000 euros you can buy a fantastic plexi or early sapphire Day-Date, which is also made from 18K gold and has a real gold value (which cannot be said from a plexi GMT with gilt dial). Other models are about the same price in and out the shops (Sub 1680/5513-116610 or GMT 1675/16750-116710 for example) but a nice and shiny golden plexi glassed 1803 - that is really top and wearable also and show you are a winner and have some taste and that you are the President of your domain.
